With a scanning speed of two to three seconds per card, CardScan empowers users to save time and aggravation and make the most of their personal digital assistants. Using CardScan’s color scanner and optical character recognition (OCR) software, business cards are scanned and sorted into an electronic address book on the PC desktop. This valuable information is easily synchronized with PDAs such as Palm(TM), Handspring(TM), Sony(R) CLIE, Psion(R) and Pocket PCs. CardScan also automatically synchronizes with Microsoft(R) Outlook(R) and other popular contact managers or personal information managers.
